Our camps offer opportunities for participants to explore many facets of the outdoors through adventure based activities and programs.  Set in a supportive and nurturing environment, activities are designed to educate campers about various outdoor skills and/or ecology, as well as challenge them in an effort to foster confidence and personal growth.  With trust and respect as corner stones of these sessions, we create a positive learning environment, enabling campers to gain a comfort and understanding of themselves, others, and the great outdoors.

Adventure Camps

June 21-25 / ages 8-12 years

July 12-16 / ages 13-16 years

July 26-30 / ages 8-12 years

From canoeing & kayaking, to map & compass skills and geocaching - these camps are packed with outdoor adventure based activities.

ADVENTURE SKILLS DAY CAMPS

August 9-13 / ages 12-16 years

5.5-day overnight camp that explores the skills and intricacies of backcountry travel while staying close to home. This trip cover approx 40 miles of overnight backpacking and paddling!

Frog Hollow and School House of Wonder are teaming up to offer an amazing 7-day platform camping experience through the maze of the lower Roanoke Basin.  This multi-night adventure camp is one your kids will never forget!
