Our camps offer opportunities for participants to explore many facets of the outdoors through adventure based activities and programs. Set in a supportive and nurturing environment, activities are designed to educate campers about various outdoor skills and/or ecology, as well as challenge them in an effort to foster confidence and personal growth. With trust and respect as corner stones of these sessions, we create a positive learning environment, enabling campers to gain a comfort and understanding of themselves, others, and the great outdoors. |

Adventure Camps & Expeditions |
|
These camps revolve around daily expeditions. The Adventure Skills Camps (ages 8-12), focus on high adventure activities such paddlesports, hiking, orienteering, geocaching, and rock climbing. The Seeds of Adventure Camps (ages 5-7), educate and engage the campers in the adventure of our natural world both in rural and urban environments.

OVERNIGHT ADVENTURE EXPEDITIONS Ages 13-17 |

June 17-21, 2013 / ages 13-17 40-Mile MST Backpacking & Canoe/Kayak Trip This 5-day camp explores the skills and intricacies of backcountry backpacking on the MST, and canoeing & kayaking while staying amazingly close to home.
July 15-19, 2013 / ages 13-17 Sea Kayaking, Surfing, Hiking, and Coastal Ecology Discovery This is a 5-day base-camp style overnight expedition. Campers will sea kayak to solitary coastal islands, hang 10 on perfect waves, wade through tide pools, and hike into the depths of thick coastal maritime forests.
August 11-16, 2013 / ages 13-17 FULL River Kayaking with a Whitewater Focus This is a 6-day camp broken into three day-camp sessions in the Triangle Area, and a 3-day overnight in the Appalachian mountains. Campers will learn and hone river kayaking skills.
